Krakow is better than Valencia or Berlin - according to the British, it is the best destination
For the third year in a row, Krakow was at the top of the "Which?" Magazine. Of the 43 European cities, it was Krakow that proved to be the most attractive destination for short trips, ahead of Seville, Valencia, Berlin and Amsterdam.
Every year, Which? asks the British to indicate the best European city, which they think is the perfect place for a short break. Not only tourist values are evaluated, but also hotel and catering facilities.
Krakow ranks first on the list with a score of 93 percent. Is the only city in the ranking that received the highest five-star rating in the category "value for money".
Seville came in second, followed by Valencia, Berlin, Amsterdam and Budapest. The list closes Brussels, Milan and Alicante. "With a palace at every step, a plate of dumplings and a mug of beer that cost less than 10 pounds, it's no wonder that Krakow is still king in our survey" - summed up the results of the list by Rory Boland, editor of the travel department at "Which?"
"Holidaymakers who are still stuck in Amsterdam, Paris and other classic European destinations, next time I recommend choosing Poland to find food, hotels and tourist attractions that are equally good, but half cheaper," he recommended. (PAP Life)
